 Call for Posters and Presentations 

BWR accepts theoretical, descriptive or experimental works on different aspects of Biolinguistics. There will be a space for poster presentation on the 23rd of March at  2pm.  Additionally, there will be 6 slots for 25-minute oral presentations on the second week of the event  (from Mar 24 to 26). Abstracts should include theoretical framework, hypothesis, objectives and conclusion. The text should fit a single page,  12pt Times New Roman font, single-spaced. The bibliography and figures can come on a second page. Abstracts must be in English and anonymous. The deadline for submission is February 29th,  2020. The acceptance notification will be sent to participants by March 4th,  2020.

Enrolment in the Courses


If you want to reserve a space in the courses, send your enrolment by e-mail to: bwr.ufrj@gmail.com . You can attend from 1 to 4 courses.  In the subject of the email, write: BWR Course enrolment

Students obtaining the minimum of 75% of  attendance, equivalent to presence in 3 full classes of a course will become illegible to receive a certificate corresponding to that course.  As long as there is space available, attendance is free in any of the classes. 

If you want to do the course for credit, mark the "For credit" option after the course title. A minimum of 75% of attendance, equivalent to presence in 3 full classes of a course will be demanded for the credit option as well. The courses will be delivered in English and the final work can be written in English or Portuguese. Each person can do up to two courses for credit (maximum). In the body of your email message, include the following information:
